We have spend the last 3 days in the east polish City of Bialystok.
At our first dag we visited the city center. Our first stop was the magnificent Branicki Palace, a true gem of Bialystok. As we strolled through the palace gardens, we were greeted by a serene pond where we had the pleasure of feeding ducks and fish. To our surprise, we also witnessed a kind-hearted man feeding an adorable squirrel!

We then made our way to the nearby Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There is a statues of Pope John Paul II outside the church and a painting inside. Maybe due to the fact, that the church acquired the status of basílica in 1985 by decision of Pope John Paul II.

Another highlight of our journey was our visit to Bialystok Accent Zoo. This unique zoo offers a delightful opportunity to observe and interact with various polish animal species such as wolf and bison. The zoo is located inside the “Park Constitution of May” where we also found a playground with water fun. We spend 2 hours there and the kids had a lot of fun!

We dedicated an entire day to explore the serene surroundings of Stawy Dojlidzkie Lake. There was an entrace few of 23 Zloty for us 5, but it as absolutely worth the money. With its beautiful beach, well-maintained facilities, ice cream stalls, and lifeguards, the lake provided a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoyment. We basked in the sun, took refreshing dips in the water, and relished in the tranquility of the natural surroundings.
